After my undergraduate education in METU Psychology, I completed my Master's degree in Health Psychology at the University of Kent in England and then my PhD in Psychology at London South Bank University. After doing research and teaching at different universities in England between 2000-2009, I returned to Cyprus in 2009 and started working at METU Northern Cyprus Campus. Between 2017-2020, I completed the Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies training and supervision processes offered by the Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies Association (European accredited). I work with adults and my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, test anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, somatic disorders, chronic diseases.
